Northern State University is looking for a dynamic leader who will elevate this successful Division II program to consistently compete for conference, regional, and national championships. NSU has a rich tradition of excellence in men's basketball and unprecedented community support.
Northern State University, home to Wolves athletics, sponsors 15 NCAA Division II intercollegiate varsity sports that compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NSIC).
The Head Coach responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred).
- 3-5 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of men's basketball rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Playing experience at the collegiate level preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues, student-athletes, and administrators.
- Commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as required.
