This position will oversee all full-time administrators and staff of the department and part-time student employees, coaches and instructors for the following programs: fitness, outdoor, aquatics, intramurals and club sports and all recreation facilities. Develop and manage the Department and Fitness and Aquatic Center (RAC) budgets. This position will ensure program operations are of high quality and integrity and are functioning in support of the overall University vision, mission, and values. The Associate Athletics Director, Recreation & Physical Education provides leadership within UMBC Athletics assuming Sport Supervision responsibilities and serving as the Director of the UMBC Summer Day Camp.
