Responsible for ensuring an outstanding level of customer services by providing direct support, planning, overseeing and managing information technology client services staff and projects for ITS and UNO Athletics events and venues. Coordinates project phases from development to installation. Acts as liaison between clients, vendors, and consultants. Contributes to the planning, design, development and implementation of project objectives, procedures, processes and standards. Provides IT leadership, professional expertise, and direction in the planning and execution of high-quality events and functions, identifies and facilitates discussion and decisions about issues affecting events, and ensures that Athletics, and/or campus-wide priorities are reflected in the planning and presentation of events.
This position works closely with athletics leaders for their events and is a member of the UNO Athletics leadership meeting structures. This job requires off hours (nights and weekends) support coordination and maintaining open communication with supported areas to make sure there is proper coverage of athletic events and other events hosted at UNO Athletics facilities including Baxter Arena.

Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • 3 years of experience supporting venue technologies in a professional or University setting • Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows and/or Apple MacOS operating systems, software application administration, and hardware • Proven customer relations experience including the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships with key customer groups • Supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with space management software • Experience with technology research and development and procurement • Experience with managing vendor interaction • Experience and understanding of managing and operating audio/video equipment • Understanding of software related for athletics events such as scoring software platforms (such as Stat Crew, Genius Sports, Colorado Timing, Hy-Tek Meet Manager, Gymnastics Scorekeeper) • Experience with athletics video and analysis platforms (such as DVSport, Playsight, XOS, Hudl, Sportscode, Right View Pro, BATS, Volleymetrics) • Experience with radio communication systems
