Job Description: What we are looking for Provide overall support to ticket operations, sales and fundraising, including, but not limited to: ticket operations, ticket sales and business intelligence. Furthermore, specifically supports the department mission by assisting in the sales, distribution, and accounting of all tickets to Baylor Athletic events.
An Associate degree and one year of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelors degree is preferred.
Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist the Director of Ticket Operations, the Director of Ticket Sales, and the Bear Foundation office with ticketed sports and fundraising.
Serve as the primary ticket operations contact for specific sports.
Input and maintain customer database for season and individual ticket orders.
Build specific seasons, events, and price tables into the ticketing system, including price levels and ticket types.
Prepare internet sales for season and single tickets with mobile ticket capabilities.
Assist in selling and allocating ticket orders over the telephone, internet and in person for all ticketed sports.
Coordinate, assist and maintain ticket inventory and account for voided tickets, scrapped and unsold ticket stock for each season.
Prepare event batches for ticket sales, balance and deposit all funds received from ticket sales and other revenue streams.
Coordinate and assist game day ticket distribution for will call, students and recruits for specific events.
Contact customers regarding balance dues and denied credit card charges.
Assist in handling ticket problems or issues that may arise for athletic events.
Secure safes and ticket offices after work hours.
Secondary Job Functions:
Provide management level support for all phases of the Ticket Office operation in the absence of supervisory personnel.
Assist in training new staff and student workers to use the computerized ticketing system, general office duties and responsibilities.
Prepare ticket sales reports as necessary for department personnel.
Place follow-up telephone calls to season ticket holders regarding season ticket renewals.
Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Ticket Operations.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
Ability to comply with university policies.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
