The University of Nevada, Reno Athletics Department is recruiting for a Certified Athletic Trainer within the Sports Medicine team. Sports Medicine personnel are responsible for performing duties of first aid, prevention, evaluation, management, rehabilitation and appropriate referrals of athletic injuries and illnesses sustained by Men’s and Women’s Division I student athletes. Incumbents provide preventative care and coverage for scheduled practices and events for assigned sports teams to include triage, treatment and to maintain a safe environment for staff and student-athletes.
