Cerro Coso Community College, of the CCCAA and member of the Inland Empire Athletic Conference, is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong leadership and technical skills for the position of Head Women’s Volleyball Coach. This position will lead the Women’s Volleyball program under the direction of the Director of Athletics and will implement goals and objectives as they relate to the Cerro Coso Athletic program, the IEAC and CCCAA policies and procedures. The desired candidate will have a minimum experience of coaching or playing at the four-year college level with an understanding of the academic and athletic demands expected of a student-athlete. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse population, while adhering to guidelines set forth by the California Community College Athletic Association, the Inland Empire Athletic Conference, and Cerro Coso Community College’s rules and regulations. Essential Job Duties: •Maintain compliance with CCCAA Constitution and Bylaws, and Cerro Coso Rules and Regulations •Responsible for recruiting and maintaining optimal roster size •Responsible for fundraising and promoting the volleyball program •Be attentive with budget set forth each year •Responsible for maintaining team equipment and inventory •Scheduling, planning, and oversight of the entire volleyball program •General support of volleyball athletes on campus

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred) plus 2 years coaching experience Or • AA degree plus six years coaching experience
