Troy University is seeking applicants for a Women's Basketball Coaching position. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Coach by providing leadership for the Women's Basketball Program, and assuring the program complies with the overall objectives of the institution and the department. The candidate will also ensure the program adheres to all applicable NCAA, conference and institutional rules and regulations.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Plan and implement skill development of players, organize and facilitate team bonding and culture-building activities, prepare and present game scouting reports, monitor academic progress of student-athletes, evaluate prospective student-athlete talent, contribute heavily to Women's Basketball recruiting efforts, self-initiate completion of various office tasks, prepare film edits of our players as well as opponent edits, assist head coach in organizing and implementing all practice sessions and game preparations, and carry out projects that endear Troy Women's Basketball to the community.

Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two years of coaching experience (preferably at the Division I level). 

Preferred Skills/Experience:  

• Proven track record of successfully contributing to a college basketball program's recruiting efforts
• Proficiency in software programs that are commonly utilized in college basketball coaching (Synergy, JustPlay, etc.)
• Sound decision making abilities, and
• A highly motivated self-initiator.
