Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent related experience. VDACS Registered Technician preferred and / or Certified Fertilizer Applicator preferred or ability to achieve within 6 months of employment. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Several years of experience managing athletic fields at the college or professional level. Experience with safe use and maintenance of athletic field maintenance equipment such as reel mowers, tractors, sprayers, light utility vehicles, aerifiers, verticutters, sod cutters, top dressers, trailers, and field lining equipment; strong interpersonal and communication skills. Personnel management and ability to work with a diverse group of employees.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in budget management
