The individual in this position will provide leadership and coaching to the Presbyterian College women’s golf team. This includes, but isn’t limited to recruiting, scheduling, player development, budgeting, coordinating team travel, and performing administrative duties.
Duties and Tasks: Responsibilities of the position include full time management and oversight of the women’s golf program, recruiting, scheduling tournaments, ordering team gear, travel planning, budgeting, organizing practices, general administrative duties, and mentoring and coaching in all aspects of the competitive skills required for collegiate golf. Responsibilities also include adherence to NCAA, Big South Conference, and Presbyterian College rules and regulations. Other responsibilities include driving the team van, scheduling van maintenance, and maintaining the inside and outside appearance of the van.
Prior intercollegiate coaching experience is required, as well as general knowledge of the rules of golf, ability to drive the team van to tournaments, and working nights and weekends.
