Job Description Football Recruiting Specialist The Recruiting Specialist oversees and directly participates in all aspects of the football recruiting operation. He/she makes the initial decision on all prospective recruits, determines the appropriate response, and makes follow-up recommendations to the General Manager. The Recruiting Specialist implements all recruiting functions and visits by prospective student-athletes. On recruiting weekends, he/she is responsible for working in conjunction with recruiting staff for booking function space, creating menus, and coordinating all travel and lodging for each recruit and their families in order to meet the recruit’s individual needs.
