University of Pikeville (UPIKE), the Leading University in Central Appalachia is actively seeking candidates for an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the Athletics Department. The successful athletic trainer is expected to perform the sports medicine duties required for multiple sports teams of the University of Pikeville by carrying out the following responsibilities: Responsibilities: Provide coverage for athletic practice sessions and game events, both home and away. Assist with the assignment of sport coverage for all sports medicine staff. Supervise work-study and scholarship students helping in the sports medicine department. Recruitment of scholarship students to assist the sports medicine department.
