Summary The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing preventative measures, acute care, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries to athletes on the team. This includes but is not limited to, managing potentially catastrophic, acute, and chronic athletic injuries within the scope of practice for athletic training, including rehabilitation and return-to-play decisions. This position is expected to collaborate with the Coaches, team physician, and/or the strength and conditioning coach, if necessary. Attendance at scheduled team practices and home and away games is required. This position will work cooperatively with athletes, coaches, and athletic department staff. The Trainer is also responsible for maintaining the standards of the National Athletic Trainers
