Northern Michigan University is seeking applications for a Compliance & Special Events Assistant. The position will serve as the assistant to the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. Assist with various duties related to NCAA and conference compliance and student-athlete relations, advocacy and academic progress. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. One year of compliance experience at any NCAA institution or conference office or two years of work experience in a secondary or higher education student service. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with NCAA rules/bylaws. Required knowledge/skills/abilities: Ability to use NCAA compliance software including Compliance Assistant Internet (CAi) and Legislative Services Database (LSDBi), ARMS or a comparable database
