They work 1-on-1 with a max of 8 private clients a day in dedicated 45-minute sessions to provide a 5-star treatment experience and maximize results. Job Description: Join the UGP Recovery Team as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and become part of a revolutionary approach to sports rehabilitation in the world of golf. Here, we practice as equals—no hierarchy, no ranks—only a shared mission: to change the world through the game of golf. Our world-class team of Recovery Specialists, including Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Athletic Trainers, provide holistic care for the whole person. You'll work side by side with Golf Coaches and Fitness experts in state-of-the-art facilities, delivering 1-on-1 sessions to a maximum of 8 private clients a day. Our goal is to provide a 5-star treatment experience and maximize results.
Job Requirements:
Currently resides in Orange County (CA), Austin (TX)
Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs)
Training in soft tissue/joint mobilization techniques
Specialized certifications or training in corrective exercise (e.g., Personal Training Certification, ACE, CSCS, NASM, etc. - subject to review by the hiring manager)
Golf experience is highly preferred
Sales experience is highly preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Upbeat, enthusiastic, empathetic, and selfless personality
Strong time management skills
Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting golf-specific movement assessments and skilled orthopedic examinations
Initiating, developing, and implementing individualized development programs based on assessment results, including rehabilitation, mobility programs, and progression to our Fitness Department, to facilitate optimal golf development
Collaborating closely with Golf and Fitness coaches to provide comprehensive support for clients' golf and personal development before, during, and after coaching sessions
Delivering a five-star customer experience by consistently going above and beyond for each client and anticipating their needs
Completing necessary administrative duties, such as client follow-ups, team communication, and fitness plan development
Providing weekly performance updates to the Director of Performance
Monitoring and maintaining the facility to ensure an exceptional client experience
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Doctorate of Chiropractic, or Athletic Trainer Certification
1-2 Years of related experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Positive, enthusiastic personality

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
