In collaboration with head coaches and athletic administrative staff, assistant coaches plan and lead training and practice sessions to teach, encourage and develop student athlete skills and game techniques. The Assistant Coach will ensure appropriate safety standards are maintained. This position is also required to teach 2-3 physical education courses annually, as well as identify and recruit athletically and academically qualified student-athletes. Additional duties will include scouting of opponents, managing team travel, organizing community service activities, and maintaining parent and alumni communication.
