The assistant softball coaching position supports the head coach in developing and maintaining a softball program that is athletically competitive within the Lone Star Conference (LSC) and NCAA Division II. The assistant coach works closely with the head coach to maintain an atmosphere within the UTD Department of Intercollegiate Athletics that is consistent with the mission of UTD and operates the program within the mission, policies, bylaws, regulations and interpretations of UTD Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, the LSC and NCAA Division II. Supports head coach in the administrative aspects of the intercollegiate softball program, including scheduling, recruiting, team/equipment management, budgeting, and the direction of UTD-identified athletic/sport camps; Annually
