•Interacting in a positive manner with other members of the athletic training staff (professional and student), the team physician, consulting physicians and members of the University of Maine Sports Medicine Team. •Providing coverage for scheduled practices and games involving University of Maine athletic teams as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. •Traveling with University of Maine intercollegiate athletic teams as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. •Providing prevention, care, and rehabilitation to all injured intercollegiate student-athletes in coordination with the Team Physician’s. •Determining the activity status of injured student-athletes for practice and competition in coordination with the Team Physician’s. •Referring appropriately to team physician’s, consulting
