The Associate Athletic Trainer will report to the Assistant Athletic Director/Director Sports Medicine. Primary responsibility for the overall medical and health related care of the assigned student athletes participating in the NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic program. Essential duties include but are not be limited to: assist in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, physician referral, and medical documentation of all injuries associated with assigned student athletes; communicate with coaches, student athletes, parents, staff and physicians within NATA and HIPAA guidelines; observe all athletic policy and procedures in accordance with NATA regulations as well as NCAA, Conference USA and MTSU rules and remain certified to perform these duties on a daily basis.
