The position provides for the recognition, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries for 24 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Division I athletic teams. The Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine reports to the Senior Administrator and is responsible for supervising Athletic Trainers, student workers and student interns. The position is a 12-month salaried position. The Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine provides comprehensive medical services to varsity intercollegiate athletic teams as directed by physicians in accordance with the NATA and NCAA guidelines and as assigned by the Athletic Director.
