Are you passionate about baseball and inspiring young athletes? Camp Echo is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Baseball Counselors to join our team for the summer! Located in the picturesque surroundings of Camp Echo in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, NY, our campers aged 7-17 are eager to learn and play baseball under the guidance of skilled coaches like you.
As a Baseball Counselor at Camp Echo, you will have the opportunity to coach and mentor campers in the fundamentals of baseball. From teaching basic skills to organizing intracamp games and participating in intercamp leagues, including county-wide tournaments, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for the sport in our camp community.
Coach and mentor campers aged 7-17 in baseball skills and techniques. Umpire games and ensure fair play among campers. Develop and execute engaging lesson plans in coordination with Program Director and Athletic Director. Collaborate with fellow counselors to ensure the safety and well-being of campers. Act as a role model and provide leadership for campers both on and off the field. Assist with general counselor duties when not coaching, fostering a positive camp environment.

Previous experience coaching baseball, preferably with children or adolescents. Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and rules. Ability to effectively communicate and work with campers of varying ages and skill levels. Fun and outgoing personality!
