POSITION PURPOSE: The Associate Director of Athletics will be responsible for day to day oversight of various external units within the intercollegiate athletics department including all ticket operations, corporate sponsorships, suites, and annual event fundraising for the department. In this role, the Associate Director of Athletics is responsible to facilitate growth and increase revenue by developing plans that will promote strategic revenue generation opportunities and work closely with the NSU Foundation, Wolves Club Committee membership, and athletics leadership to maximize results. Reporting directly to and working with the Director of Athletics, the Associate Director of Athletics will develop the strategic plan for the fundraising program, manage a portfolio of prospects, oversee all departmental fundraising events and represent the Athletics Department at University and community events.
*A bachelor's degree and at least two years of previous experience in college and/or professional sports * Demonstrated successful fundraising, marketing and promotion experience in athletics. * A working knowledge of hosting NCAA championships and/or other major sports events is preferred. * A master's or advanced degree is preferred
