Summary
The assistant football coach (Defensive Coordinator) is responsible for assisting the head coach in the management of a successful NCAA Division III varsity football program. The assistant coach manages the student-athletes who participate on the defensive side of the ball, including providing instruction and skill/leadership development. The position requires the assistant coach to develop weekly defensive game plans and calling plays for the defense during game day. The assistant coach is also responsible for supervising defensive staff coaches during practices and game days.
