Assist with monitoring activities for all student-athlete eligibility and financial aid to assure compliance with institutional, Sun Belt Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Maintain and oversee grants-in-aid, National Letters of Intent, squad lists, eligibility checklists, student-athlete biographical information, required NCAA paperwork for student-athletes, academic records, recruiting records, Academic Performance Program data, and mandated NCAA reports.
Plan, develop, and implement programs of in-service training, staff development, and rules education for institutional administrators, athletics staff, coaches, student-athletes, and boosters.
Manage and supervise a graduate assistant.
Investigate and report rules infractions.
Submit Student-Athlete Reinstatement Requests, Initial Eligibility Waivers, Progress-Toward-Degree Waivers, and other institutional waivers.
Game management responsibilities in football.
Assist the Associate AD of Compliance with monitoring the academic, amateurism, and financial aid components of student-athlete eligibility in order to assure compliance with NCAA, Sun Belt Conference, and Troy University rules and regulations.
Organize, maintain, and oversee student-athlete data files, which include: a.Squad Lists and Eligibility Lists b.Grant-in-Aid Agreements c.National Letters of Intent d.NCAA Required Forms (e.g., Drug Testing Consent Form) e.Student-Athlete Biographical Information f.Academic Records g.Recruiting Records h.NCAA Eligibility Center
Collaborate with various personnel on campus, including the registrar, financial aid, admissions, student services, faculty, coaches, and student-athletes.
Assist with SAAC and student-athlete development activities.
