This position involves frequent verbal, written, and email correspondence with current and prospective students, parents, faculty and staff.
The successful candidate will:
Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of coaching, program and team management, as well as planning and execution of practices.
Design, implement and coach goalie training programs. In charge of all training for the goalie position.
Devise a game strategy which includes video analysis and scouting opponents.
Assisting and mentoring student athletes with academic progress, campus involvement and social/community outreach, and other issues related to the college experience.
Recruit quality Prospective Student-Athletes
Manage recruiting database, schedule recruiting visits, and attend recruiting events.
Assist with team marketing and management of social media.
Coordinate and market prospect days, camps, and clinics.
Create and distribute mailing material to recruits, families, and alumni.
Assist head coach with managing game day operations and travel plans.
Adhere to and ensure compliance with departmental/College/NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Athletic Director
Three to five years of playing or coaching experience at the intercollegiate level
Excellent knowledge of on field tactics and goalie position training.
Knowledge of Hudl and Frontrush preferred.
CPR and First Aid Certification or the ability to get certified in a timely manner.
Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of an office environment as well as stand for long periods of time. Must also be able to demonstrate techniques to student athletes.

Previous collegiate coaching experience or collegiate lacrosse experience preferred. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently, has excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and will be someone who is able to interpret, apply and comply with all NCAA Division III and MIAA rules and regulations. A demonstrated commitment to the academic development of student athletes will be given preference, as will knowledge of Adrian College policies and procedures.
