As a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) Business Office, the Associate Director of Business Operations will provide financial and accounting support to the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Duties include but not limited to:
Performing complex professional accounting work such as completing reconciliations and journal entries.
Executing the department’s working fund.
Managing department inventory.
Auditing and reconciling procurement card logs and travel expenses. Providing financial information to the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations by researching and analyzing data and preparing reports and performing other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a business office related environment is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication.
Organizational and report preparation skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is required.
Preferences:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field is preferred.
At least two years (2) of NCAA Division I collegiate athletics accounting experience is preferred.
