JOB PURPOSEL: Supports the athletic programs of the University by providing training and treatment of student athletes. Assists in managing the operations of the training room. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Athletic Training Primary Athletic Trainer for Men's or Women's Soccer or Women's Volleyball and other assigned teams Treats athletic injuries occurring to varsity athlete that does not require a physician’s services Evaluates all injuries for determination of treatment Accompanies any injured athlete to see a physician and discusses treatment LI>Collaborates with professional medical staff in rehabilitation program development for student-athletes in assigned sports to assist in their recovery Communication with strength and conditioning
