Responsible for providing coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Volleyball Coach. Responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, the PAC-12 Conference, and the NCAA.

Job responsibilities include: •Report to Head Coach •Review and contribute to practice plans each week • Volleyball technical expertise in coaching athletes •Physical ability to demonstrate, compete in practices, and run drills on the court •Modeling a professional and enthusiastic manner with athletes •Supporting the program culture and development •Maintaining a safe and positive working environment for the participants and staff •Wearing proper attire •Attending required meetings and training •Video production

Date Range for position: August 1, 2023 - June 1, 2024

• Qualified Volleyball Background
• Previous playing experience preferred
• Previous coaching experience preferred
• Must have exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Enthusiasm and passion to develop student athletes
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and interpretations
• Standard First Aid/CPR is required
• Background check required
