Systematically follows procedures for documenting and maintaining records related to athletes’ eligibility certification, including transfer eligibility; reports to the NCAA Athletics Certification Officer; confers on a regular basis and coordinates closely with the Athletic Academic Center Director; and confers with and provides formal reports and informal advisory information to the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance in the Athletics Department. This position has primary responsibility of assisting the NCAA Athletics Certification Officer in obtaining, evaluating, and documenting the academic credentials of over 400 student-athletes to ensure that they meet National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and Sun Belt Conference eligibility rules.
