Oakland University Athletics is a Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. Our Athletic Department is looking for a highly organized, driven and detail oriented individual to fill the position of Head Coach, Women’s Tennis.
Plan and implement all phases of a competitive national level NCAA Division I women’s tennis program, including student-athlete recruitment, scheduling, conducting practice sessions, conditioning programs, public relations activities and scouting/game preparation. Administer a sound and productive recruiting program within the university policies. Develop and implement a fundraising program for the Women’s Tennis program. Provide assistance as necessary with the departmental fundraising and public relations programs. Perform other duties outside of those related to tennis as assigned by the Director.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA, conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Minimum of three years experience in coaching or teaching tennis.
