The Ohio State University Department of Athletics is seeking one Athletic Trainer Intern. The intern will work 40+ hours per week. May work nights and weekends based on the schedule of OSU athletic events. This position has responsibilities assigned to specific sports and have an appointment term of 12 months beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024. The Athletic Trainer Interns will work closely with full-time staff to provide comprehensive medical care. They will also assist with coordination and direction of students in ATEP. This is an entry level, career based internship and is intended for professional development of an applicant with only 6 to 24 months practical experience. This position is focused on furthering knowledge and skills in the field of Athletic Training. Internship positions are appointed on an annual basis. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged. Please provide professional references in cover letter. Bachelor's level degree required. Successful completion of BOC Certification Examination by the beginning of internship and ability to obtain a License to practice Athletic Training in the State of Ohio. Preferred independent travel experience.
