St. Lawrence University invites applications for a full-time athletic trainer. This is a 10-month, full-time staff position. Our athletic training staff provides services for a comprehensive athletic program which features 35 intercollegiate teams, including Division I Men’s and Women’s Hockey. Responsibilities include providing athletic training services among the 35-sports. The successful candidate will work with other athletic training staff members in the care, prevention, clinical evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of the student-athletes. This includes but is not limited to, providing game and practice coverage, managing, and organizing medical records, assisting with supervising/mentoring student first-aiders, and communicating with assigned team coaches. The athletic trainer’s primary responsibilities will be determined by the Head Athletic Trainer. Teaching in the Sport and Exercise Science minor is also a possibility. Athletic training opportunities during Summer Camps are available. Comprehensive salary and benefits package.

Bachelor’s degree required
NATABOC certified and in good standing
Applicant must be New York State licensed or eligible and have CPR/AED certification.
Ability to meet University requirements to drive a university vehicle.
