Job Summary: The Assistant Athletic Director, Development OR Director of Development, under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director, Revenue Generation, actively works to increase revenue solicitation of contributors to the school's athletics annual fund. The position will lead the strategy and implementation of all annual fund activities while maintaining a portfolio of donors and prospects.
Salary Rate / Pay Rate: $45,000 - $65,000
Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree 2. One (1) year of experience in in fundraising or related field, preferably in higher education. 3.Exemplary customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's degree 2. Two (2) years of experience in fundraising or related field, preferably in higher education 3. Background with or demonstrated knowledge of fundraising
Work Hours: This position will occupy standard office hours in addition to nights, weekends, and some holiday work.
Functional Expectations: Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: 1. Ability to effectively communicate on a daily basis.| 2. Ability to conduct or attend meetings in various locations.
