The Assistant Director for Strategic Communications will assist in all aspects of conference operations with emphasis on branding, communications, social media, website management, championship administration and programming. The assistant director will work with conference personnel and the NEWMAC membership to promote and publicize the conference through various forms of written, visual and social media communications. Additional responsibilities are in the areas of championship administration, programming and compliance. In addition, the assistant director will have direct oversight of the Athletic Communications Committee, the NEWMAC SAAC and other committees as assigned by the Executive Director.
