This position is responsible for assisting the head coach in coaching and recruiting student-athletes for the volleyball team. The assistant will help prepare the gym for all games and practices. Essential Job Duties: Instruct student-athletes about the skills and execution needed to perform the sport of volleyball effectively and competitively. Serve as an academic advisor for Physical Education and Wellness Sport majors, counseling them on which classes within their chosen curriculum needed to register for in order to meet degree requirements. Recruit team members by understanding the productivity of a balanced team, knowing how to recognize athletic ability, and attracting good players to this university. Attend all games and practices scheduled.
