Central Michigan University Sports Medicine Department is seeking a Graduate Athletic Trainer to assist with providing quality healthcare to student-athletes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to care, prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, and documentation of injuries. Communication with supervising athletic trainers, team physicians, coaches, athletic department personnel, and medical specialist associated with the sports medicine department is expected. Graduate Assistants will be responsible for practice and event coverage both home and away, maintenance of athletic training facilities, and supervision of athletic training students within in CAATE accredited program. Successful candidates will work with a variety of sports both independently and assisting full-time staff during their assistantship
-Bachelor Degree from an accredited CAATE program with a 3.0 or higher GPA
-Fully accepted into the Central Michigan University Graduate School
-Fully certified by the NATABOC
-Fully licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan
