The University of Central Missouri’s main campus is located in Warrensburg, about 50 miles southeast of Kansas City. Our beautiful college campus spans 1,561 acres. The Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics reports directly to the University President and is a contributing member of the President’s Council. UCM sponsors eight men’s and nine women’s sports in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association and has enjoyed championship success within the NCAA Division II. The Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics will provide leadership that continues the exemplary record of success of UCM athletics and will collaboratively develop a vision that fosters excellence in compliance, department management, community engagement, and institutional development.
The Vice President will Lead and direct all aspects of the Intercollegiate Athletics program at the University of Central Missouri including operations of the Multipurpose Building, South Recreation Facility, Pertle Springs and Mules National Golf Course, Audrey J Walton Football Stadium, and Crane Baseball Stadium.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Administration, Business Administration, Physical Education or related field required.
Master’s degree Athletic Administration, Business Administration, Physical Education in a related field preferred.
Five (5) years senior management experience in college level athletics or equivalent experience required.
Demonstrated skills in personnel management, public relations, and program development.
Commitment to supporting student-athlete well-being and a strong academic culture within athletics.
Commitment to department advancement and acquisition of resources to support department goals.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that includes professional development for coaches and staff.
Understanding of Athletic promotions and fiscal management.
