Basic functions: To advance and support the vision and mission of the OU Women’s soccer program by providing our student athletes with the all the necessary resources to compete on the field, excel in the classroom, unlock their true potential, and prepare them for life after graduation- with winning in all these areas as the ultimate goal.
Essential Functions:
Support the design, implementation, and execution of training under the guidance/ collaboration with the Head Coach
Provide the necessary environment for all goalkeepers to learn and develop
Organize the weekly/monthly/yearly schedules for the delivery of specific goalkeeper coaching
Plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate coaching sessions in relation to the individual/ team training session
Perform required administrative tasks to ensure that each goalkeeper’s progress is tracked, monitored, and evaluated constantly
Provide regular video analysis review sessions with animation to show what went well and what can be improved
Provide daily voice notes and instant feedback from training on performance to help our goalkeepers grow quickly
Manage and communicate with all the goalkeepers on a regular basis regardless of squad status and/or injury
Contribute to discussions on team selection, tactics, strategy, load management/medical in a collaborative and positive way with coaches and support team
Be responsible for all set pieces- plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate effectiveness and execution of all set pieces
Develop a progressive learning process/plan for set pieces on how we can always accelerate development quickly (individual/unit/collective)
Has a desire to consistently grow and develop each goalkeeper and get to know them as a people. Be always an encourager and supporter
Responsible to develop a process to identify/ recruit and retain the top goalkeepers in the country
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience coaching in a collegiate, professional, or club setting
Working knowledge of university, NCAA, and Big 12 rules and regulations
Demonstrated success in operating autonomously while adhering to vision and mission of organization
Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire date
History of promoting positive student-athlete experience

Able to work with players, staff and other stakeholders of varying ages, experience, backgrounds, and cultures
Able to work in a high-profile environment with regular media coverage and public interest
Is a collaborator and relishes the opportunity to work alongside others to overcome challenges and achieve goals
