General Summary The Director of Special Events will be responsible for oversight of all special events, University events and outside group events for Eastern Michigan Athletics. The Director of Special Events will negotiate and contract events at the George Gervin GameAbove Center and all other athletic facility space. This position will coordinate details of events with athletic department and University staff and ensure customer satisfaction with events. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Plan, implement and coordinate all aspects of athletic special events. Maintain knowledge of departmental activities, sports schedules and procedures.
