Under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director, the Special Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of special events, including but not limited to events for The Duck Athletic Fund, Athletic Department, University Advancement, the Office of the President, regional booster organizations, and select other university events. The Special Events Manager will be responsible for implementing the strategic plan developed by Oregon Athletics to engage the university’s diverse internal and external audiences including the greater community, alumni, friends, faculty, staff, volunteers, and donors.
