PRIMARY PURPOSE/SCOPE Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, the primary purpose of the Head Men’s Soccer Coach is to manage the men’s soccer program and provide direction to the athletes included within the program, while fostering and maintaining fiscal responsibility. PRIMARY DUTIES The primary duties of the Head Men’s Soccer Coach consist of instructing athletes in the fundamentals and the performance of the sport of men’s soccer as well as teaching, tutoring, mentoring and coaching student athletes. In addition, as leaders of this sport, the coach exercises discretion and judgment in decisions affecting the student athletes and the employees of their department.
