Defiance College, an NCAA D-III institution located in Northwest Ohio and member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, seeks an individual to serve as head coach of the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs. The individual will be responsible for providing organization and leadership for all phases of the programs under the direction of the Athletic Director. Responsibilities include recruiting, meet scheduling and preparation, practice organization, fundraising, budget preparation and management, equipment control, mentoring of student-athletes and assistant coaches, developing an annual service/engagement project for student-athletes, and other duties normally associated with being the head coach of an intercollegiate program.
