SU is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Primary Job Duties: To assist in providing Athletic Training services to those who require these services and to be available for rehabilitation services in the Athletic Training Clinic. Additional administrative and athletic training duties and services.
Minimum Qualifications: One to three years of related experience and a Master’s degree in Athletic Training required. Collegiate athletic training experience. Required, up-to-date BOC certification and eligible for Maryland State Athletic Training License.
Thorough knowledge of the care and prevention of athletic injuries; excellent evaluation, observation and analytical skills. Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral & written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
