Wagner College, a Division I member of the Northeast Conference in Staten Island, NY, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Athletic Facilities and Operations Graduate Assistant. This position reports to the Deputy Athletic Director and the Director of Athletic Facilities & Operations, and is responsible for assisting with the supervision of all athletic events and facilities.

Job Description •Assist with managing all Athletic/Special events (Staffing, Facility & Event Set-up, Scheduling) •Responsible for game management with several varsity programs •Serve as liaison for visiting teams and officials •Assist with scheduling practices and events in all Athletic Facilities •Assist Marketing, Ticketing, and neighboring departments with game day needs •Ensure coaches needs concerning facility & operational issues, troubleshoot game day issues regarding video boards, scoreboards, shot clocks & A/V systems •Submit work orders with Campus Operations regarding maintenance, grounds and custodial needs •Communicate event logistics & needs to Campus Security •Assist as a vendor liaison •All other duties as assigned
Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree required •1-2 years minimum collegiate athletics experience. Preferred experience working in Facilities & Event Operations •May require heavy lifting up to 50+ pounds •Excellent management, leadership, and communication skills a must
