Compensation: Salary range of $55,000-$65,000. Western Colorado University is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Head Women’s Volleyball Coach.
Responsibilities: Responsible for providing leadership, planning, organizing, and for administering all aspects of, the Western’s Women’s Volleyball program including but not limited to: providing strong leadership, recruiting highly qualified student-athletes, practice and competition scheduling, coaching athletes in practice and games, maintenance of a strong academic environment, supervision of coaching staff, maintaining budget, conducting and managing all facets of camps, cultivate alumni, direct involvement working with program specific fund-raising as well as participation in Athletic Department fund-raising. Limited other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. Three years collegiate Volleyball coaching experience preferred. Knowledge of NCAA Division II Volleyball practices and regulations, must become NCAA II recruiting certified, ability to establish good rapport and relationships with players, administrators, staff, alumni and the general public. Must have proven administrative, organizational and recruiting skills
