Under the general direction of the Director of Athletics, the head women’s ice hockey coach will recruit qualified student-athletes for the women’s ice hockey program, instruct and develop the student-athletes in the sport of ice hockey, prepare for games and assist in community involvement. As a new program, recruitment will be the number one priority for this position. Instruction should include, but not be limited to, the rules, strategies and techniques relating to practice and competition in this sport. The head coach provides administrative support to the College’s NCAA Division III program. The head coach will also support the mission and goals of the athletic department.
