The Assistant Commissioner oversees the conference-wide compliance program that includes interpretations, education, waivers, legislative proposal development, and campus peer reviews. The individual oversees the CACC Constitution, Bylaws, Administrative Policies, Strategic Plan as well as all surveys of conference membership. The position assists with the conference and NCAA awards program and oversees the NCAA Conference grant program. The Assistant Commissioner serves as the liaison with several CACC constituencies while also managing assigned areas of internal operations in the conference office.
