The Assistant Director of Communications is a full-time, 12-month position with salary and benefits. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: sports information duties for the majority of the league's 24 sports, social media management, digital video streaming, championships administration, branding, and other duties as assigned by the Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner. This individual will also be directly involved with all facets of league administration. In addition, the Assistant Director will be responsible for press releases, promotion of Conference championships, and is expected to represent the Conference at select administrative meetings, championships, and other events. Regular night and weekend work will be required, along with extensive travel.
