The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach s upports the Head Women's Soccer Coach as assigned. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and recruiting for women's soccer along with event management for winter or spring sporting events.
Serve as assistant Women's Soccer coach. Organize and implement practice and game plans in coordination with the head Women's Soccer coach. Ability to utilize video analysis technology in planning and preparing practice.
Active in all aspects of recruiting; utilizing recruiting software/social media, phone contacts, and club tournament recruiting.
Annually participate in professional development for Women's Soccer.
Supervise student athletes in the Varsity Weight Room and other facilities as assigned by Director of Athletics.
Serve as event manager for winter or spring sporting events.
Regular attendance is an essential function to perform the duties of this position.
Bachelors Degree required
This position requires a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and must be insurable by the College's insurance carrier
USSF or NSCAA preferred
NCAA College playing and coaching experience preferred
Must communicate effectively with all types of people, and establish and maintain a strong working relationship with students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and other college personnel.
Must have the ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision.
Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Evening and weekend hours in all types of weather, with travel is necessary.
E xerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Position involves both inside sedentary work and work on different fields and on other fitness environments while coaching and training situations with student-athletes. Lifting required (ie., set-up of scorers' table, etc.), some manual labor is expected.
