The Ohio State University Department of Athletics is seeking candidates for Director, Ticket Ops & Analytics. The Director of Ticket Operations and Analytics serves as a member of the ticket office team and is committed to the excellence and advancement of the Department of Athletics through its strategic plan. This position is responsible for managing ticket operations, database and data warehouse management, and implementing strategies for third-party ticketing integrations. This position reports to and supports the Senior Ticket Director, Operations & Analytics in directing ticket office operations including strategic planning, policy and procedure development, and managing data collection and analysis to help direct marketing and ticketing decision-making processes. Manages ticketing technology resources and implementation. Works closely with sales team to identify leads and coordinate sales efforts in regards to actionable data. Manages ticket operations for assigned sports including programming, renewals, invoicing, seat relocations, digital ticketing management, and post-season processes. Collaborates with other department areas to coordinate ticketing needs for marketing, promotions, fan experience and game day operations. Manages one full-time operations staff member. Provides general ticket office management support including customer service, financial reporting and reconciliation, and supervision of student staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience required. Must have at least 2 years of ticket operations experience in an intercollegiate or professional sports team setting. Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills, and a commitment to customer service. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of constituents. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
3 - 5 years of experience working in an intercollegiate or professional sports ticket office. One year experience working with data analytics, data warehouse concept or CRM platforms. Experience working with Ticketmaster products (Archtics, Account Manager, Host).
