The Assistant Athletic Director for Communications is responsible for all aspects of sports information and media relations for the Athletic Department. The position is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Texas A&M University-San Antonio (A&M-San Antonio), the Red River Athletics Conference (RRAC), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). In addition, this person must be committed to the education Mission of the University. Required Experience:

• Two (2) years of related experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in sports journalism, sports administration, public relations, or related field from a four-year, regionally accredited university.

• Minimum of (4) years of relevant experience.
